I wonder if anyone has given any thought to the Pascagoula port that was closed due to BRAC. This is an amazing port. Being my hometown, it breaks my heart to know that it sits empty. I think it would be a great choice for a cruise ship port being so close to the gulf and all. I went down not too long ago and was impressed by the roads leading to it as well as the space available. Sure wish someone would look into it.

Hi luvs2sail, maybe you could drop a letter to Carnival, Royal, and some of the others as a suggestion. They do read suggestions, and maybe they would go and check it out. I wish there were more ships that would visit Mobile and New Orleans, too.
