I am booking on Carnival Pride to go to the Mexican Riv late April 2007. I am working with a Carnival agent. We need to rooms: 1 cabin for 2 single women with a 2 year old, and 1 cabin for a couple. As a returning cruiser, they have offered to book a room (Cat 4) on any deck.
First, what deck. Second, forward, mid-ship or aft?

I was on the pride in 2005 what a great ship it is one of my picks. The same rules apply to any ships. The best in right in middle deck mid ship. however we were the highest deck two cabins from the back and did not notice anything at all. I think that if you get motion sickness then you should worry however if not anywhere will do.

Thanks Whickey,
Other questions, how did you get from the Airport to the port? Did you bring Alcohol in your luggage? Any fun excursions? I think that I would like to swim with the dolphins! But I am looking for other suggestions. Any tips on traveling with a 2 year old?

We did a swim with the dolphins in Cozumel (pre-hurricane). It was one of the most awesome things I've ever done in my life. They are amazing creatures, strong yet gentle, and very intelligent. To me, it was worth every penny!
