Could anyone tell me if Elation has a teen club? If so what are some of the activities it offers?

Thanks for the info. My DD is 16 and expecting to be bored. Has anyone had a child who participated in the teen club? How did they like it?

Tell your daughter to be optimistic! My daughter, who will be 16 in January, and I are sailing on the Liberty next June, and she was saying the same thing. I found some info on various websites about things for teens to do and she decided that she will probably have fun after all, lol! Please let us know how she liked it and what she did while on the cruise!

My teen daughter is 15 and we will be sailing in November, she has been on 6 cruises. She always goes to the first night teen introduction get together...this way she can meet other teens on the ship. Keep in mind that all the teens are also sailing with their parents and are all looking to meet new people. With the teen activities, they also schedule teen shore excursions and lots of things for them to do. They can participate as they wish. Its a great way to meet new friends. My daughter has been sailing since she was 9 and on each ship she meets at least one new friend who she keeps in contact with after coming home.

Tell you daughter to go have a great time, and to remember the other kids are there looking for friends to hang out with also.

My son just went with us this summer on our first cruise. He thought he was going to be bored as well. He did say he enjoyed himself, but he turned 17 on the ship so the teen club was not enough for him. I think it ended at 10:30 to get ready for the adults, they had a after hour club after thier dance. It was either a movie or some more music in a different location. She will be fine. She may make more friends than my son, boys are more reserved. His girl cousin and girl next door neighbor went with us so they kind of hung together and wonder the ship together.

My son 13 in 2005 (cruised on the Triumph -Carnival) and My son 14 in 2006 (cruised on the Explorer of the Seas - RCCL) and has an absolute blast being part of both cruise lines' Teen Clubs. A few of his friends had cruised on the Glory the month before he had (girls 14 and did not have a good time - because they never joined any of the fun activities. He could not understand why not. YOUR DAUGHter will not have fun if she doesn not join in. The counsellors encourage all teenagers to join in but no one is forced. As with every other experience on the cruise, it is what you make it. on RCCL my son 14 picked up all kinds of free prizes for participatig in contests. Triumph did not have free prizes.
