Are you supposed to put your cabin number on the room tags. What if you have guaranteed rooms and do not know which cabin you will be in. We have a guaranteed balcany and a guaranteed inside room on the Glory in 20 days and not sure how to handle this.

I'm not sure if things have changed but I have done that in the past. The porters at the port should have a list of who is in each cabin if you don't know where you will be before you get there.

Yes, don't worry about the bag tags. The porters at the terminal will have permanent bag tags for you so you don't have to worry about laminating or printing the the temp ones you print with your eDocs.

As Larry says, the porters at the pier will have a passenger manifest listing cabin numbers for those who have not been assigned one yet.

I have a laminator at work, and I was thinking about laminating my luggage tags. It should make them last longer. Then, I plan on taping and stapling them to death. Hopefully they’ll stay on.

Emily, you don't have to go to all the trouble. They will put permanent bag tags on for you at the pier. No need for them in advance, it just seems that since they used to send them out prior, everybody thinks they should have them before ariving. The porters at the pier will handle everything for you before they leave with your luggage.

Cheers, Neil

HI Emily8

I laminated my tags and left about 1/2 inch extra to cut a slit to attach it to my other luggage tags. It works great. I alos bought some TSA locks (again) to lock my luggage before I get to the pier and use them to lock my luggage for debarkation and unlock before flying. I think it will save time at the pier go ahead and do it.

I used the new tags that came as a page in my ticket book on this past cruise. I did laminate them with packing tape and they stayed on with no problems. The porters did not replace them.

I still prefer the old tags though...
