I would not want to meet "Hosie" O'Donnell, eat with her, or do anything with her. And it all has to do with her being just plain ol' mean, nasty, hateful, and someone who just likes to hear herself rant, bitch, or otherwise moan.

She made a good Betty Rubble in Flintstones though. Maybe the bone in her hair in that movie was too tight and now this is the everlasting effect!

As usual, I couldn't agree more with Dave's brilliant assessment.

Well I could tolerate one dinner maybe. I like meeting people and see what makes them tick the way they do. Like I said if she started with the ranting and nasty stuff and weird political views, I would order the chocolate cake and flip it in her face by accident..oops Razz

IB, you made a good point IMHO about diversity, I would not want to be on a cruise with 500 of one group either.

Neil, they don't have nut chartered cruises to my knowledge is why I thought the homophobic when you brought up being seated with Rosie Wink

They barely have room for the life jackets, where are they going to stow the straight jackets?

Dave, what does "Hosie" mean?

I suppose I am out of the loop on this subject, I don't watch the "View" I think it is more for Women, and I can't take too much "Factorized" spun rants/news. So I am neutral. I still like meeting famous people though.

It is so funny such strong reactions, I have never seen Dave call people names before Lol

I think this topic was about chartered cruises. But if you should get seated with some folks that are obnoxious, or even just not compatible..just ask the Maitre'd to move. It is no Biggie Smile

"Hosie" is my little variant - as in hoser or hosehead.

I am in total agreement with you, Dave.

When "The View" started about 10 years ago, it was promoted as a show in which women at different points in their lives would get together to provide their perspectives on current events. There was one woman in her 20s, one in 30s, one 40s, and one 50s, in addition to Barbara.

Fast forward to 2006, and Rosie ruined this for the rest of us 40-something, overweight moms originally from NY.

That said, I do agree that I'd rather see an entire ship chartered than have to share space with a group (ANY group) that would take up the public space I had hoped to enjoy on my holiday. So long as enough notice is provided.

For sure, it is better to charter a whole ship than have to share the ship. I've been on both sides of this - as a group member and as an innocent bystander. I really felt guilty at times when our group got in the way or had more than our share of jackasses - which tends to happen in groups where people feel emboldened.

I love politics but as stated before, this ain't the place. On a related note though, I've read enough posts here to know I'd like to see Dave run for Pres better than our current choices. That Senior Frogs photo might be fun to see again on the Sunday talking heads shows too.

Dang Neil, I didn't think that, as a group, the current crop of wannabes was THAT bad!

I'm afraid my public demeanor would rub some the wrong way. I would tend to revert to my former Marine self, and my State Of The Union speech would probably begin with "All right people, listen up. We are going to square this unruly mess away, and I mean now! You in the back! Yes you, Sweet Heart. What did you say? I don't give a damn about your being a Senator! I don't recall giving you permission to talk, whisper, or otherwise run that sewer you call a mouth! Drop and give me 25, you worthless maggot!"

Of course, in my view this is exactly what all politicians and more than a few of our fellow citizens need.

Like I said... Dave for Pres. And I do believe the current crop is pretty pettiful, especially the frontrunners! I based my endorsement patryly although not all together on your list of companione at you fantasy dinner table. And then there was the nightmare dinner table discussion. We seem to think alike on a lot of things! Makes me think you're a pretty fart smeller... oops, smart feller, sorry about the typos.

Cheers, Neil

I can’t said anything good about Rosie O'Donnell, I was in love with betty from the Flintstone when I was a kid, and then she play the role at the movie,
Ohhh my eyes they burn!!!
Happy place!!! Happy place!!!!
Back to the post,

Well before booking my honeymoon, the travel agencies did not told me about the “quinceañeras cruise” when I book I really enjoy the cruise but for all I know every time I try to go to the clubs they have a special evening for the “quinceañeras” so for all I know they made you a favor because they told you before, I enjoy my cruise but like they said a few post before this one the can “close” all the clubs with this special treatments either way if the company change your dates can you cancel your cruise if you want?
In my line of work you cannot make changes like that you have a limited option of days to use if that occur to me I believe the break your contract the should refund you the money…

Ahhh, another victim of quinces. "Quinces, your festival at sea", or something like that, was what assailed us on the Triumph back in 2003. They took over lounges, pools, even sun decks at times, always with some sort of pageant director barking out orders to the girls and an always present video crew to record every precious moment. It was annoying. I also noted that many of the girls seemed disgruntled at the regimentation they were subjected to.

Dave, you might have some very slight temperament issues. But that is what they need like in your post to straighten their nonsense out. From conversing with you for nearly 2 years I know a few qualities you have that are desperately needed...You have integrity, you are caring, and you have a sense of fairness. Those are qualities I would like to see in a candidate ThumbUp

What type of outfit is this Quinces? I have only been a victem of a large family re-union, there were about 400 of them once. I won't go into thier antics, but it was annoying to say the least.

Smooth Seas to All,

IC

Well there is not much to said about “quince festival”
The Latin community use to celebrate the 15 birthday of their daughters in something like a wedding kind of experience, you have multiple photo shooting, not for you just for them at the cruise, your daughter buy a expensive dress like the one people use as weddings, a lot of relative are in the cruise so the lines are big, really big, long story short a wedding for a whole week…
The problem is they usually use all the available space they can,
you go to check out your photos from the day before and you find a lot of the “quince birthday” there just checking the photos they want, and I mean a lot of people so you know there will be a line even late at night.
Especially at the buffet!!! ThumbUp
But the really annoying part is they usually have the disco until 11 pm and no adult can Dance until they finish, and that’s usually the case for all week so that maybe is not much trouble but if you like to dance like me, it can be very difficult to wait until then…

Thanks Casanova, Did not mean to show my ignorance by asking. I thought it might be some organization type thing.

BTW, do you have an abbreviation of your screen name that you would prefer? I am not the best typer or speller of long names.

Example even with my short name: Island, Cruz, or IC, and my friends call me Dwayne, and prolly alot of other things sometimes Wink

Thanks again for the education,
IC

Might I humbly suggest "Love Dr."; it's considerably shorter than Cassanova frankenstein, yet conveys the same image.
