Hello everyone I am going on my first cruise in May but I am going on RCCL first but I know when I return we will be going again with The Fun Ships my question is what ship is the better class of ships I talking year 2008.LOL yeah we are planning that far ahead. I mean I know about the Mariner is that the better class and what about that Freedom ship when does it sail??

Carnival's Freedom is going to be cruising the Greek Islands and Turkey. Its basically a Conquest class of ship with a few more ammenities (Like the Pool side "jumbo-tron" screen)

You are going to be hard pressed to compare a Voyager class RCCL ship (the Mariner) with a CCL ship. The Voyager class has more to offer. The CCL cruises are still a great time, but if your only comparison is the ship, then you will have an easy choice. CCL offers less expensive cruises and a few more choices (but not many) than RCCL. You have to try them both (As I am about to do) to get a true feeling of the differences.

Hey, Is a question of preference as to which is better.

New = Better

Size = Better

Layout = Better

To me the Spirit Class ships are to my liking

But I love them all
