I think spring break will be over for most people - but be prepared for the onslaught of parents dragging their kids onboard for the first summer cruise.
Yes, spring break is long over. But as Tarponman states, schools are getting out. Ours is out that week but most don't get out until June, so there will be more childern than normal but not as much as there will be in June.
Frankly I don't see the childern to be as big a concern as the college kids on Spring Break...

That's true..and a follow-up on my recent cruise on the Valor.
There were less than 50 kids under the age of 5 y/o on that ship. NONE were present at the 8:00 dinner seating and we never had a bad experience with that age group of children.
However..it was the teenaged kids that caused most of the problems on board what with running down the passageways, belly-flopping in the pools, etc.
Kids will be kids, right?? Wrong!! If you're annoyed by that kind of behavior..FIND THE PARENTS and have it stopped. It's your cruise too!!
And finally..I heard horror stories about small children in the adult hot tubs and those stories (at least during this cruise) were false. Kudos to the deck staff around the pool for keeping the hot tubs what they are - Adults Only!!
Like others have stated Spring Break is over. I have been on a cruise with mostly college kids and had one of the best cruises that I have ever had. I have been on 5 cruises so far and going again Dec 1 on the Triumph. The college kids when they pass you they always said hello and most people my age normally just pass by and say nothing. I was 45 at the time of that cruise and I would cruise any time with college kids.
