My family is planning a cruise on-board the Splendor out of LA on the 7th of June, 2009. I'm now a previous cruiser with Carnival but where would I find my Past Guest number? Do I need to call Carnival? Also, is there an advantage of using a travel agent to arrange the trip? I'm fairly good at reading the deck charts to make sure I don't get a cabin next to the engine room or under the disco! I guess my real question is there any financial reason to use an outside agent? Thanks for any help out there.

It should be on the bottom left of your Sail & Sign card. If not, follow the instructions here.

I am all for using a Travel Agent that specializes in cruises. It doesn't cost any more to use one, and they have a world of knowledge, and guidance to offer you. I would look for a reputable one in your area. I would rather have an advocate on my side should there be any problems.

Thanks Dwayne for the speedy reply. I guess the number is the folio number but will double check on the Carnival website.

Mike, No the number is not the folio number! If your card doesn't say Guest# somewhere on it, you will have to check on the website.

The number will also be on your first issue of Currents Magazine.

Just call the Carnival Reservation # and any of the Personal Vacation Planners can give you your past guest number without hesitation. 800-819-3902
