Do you have to have a seating assignment at the midnight Buffet? Is it a casual dressed atmosphere? Is it usually a big crowd? What do they usually have on the buffet?

Yes, it is open seating. I am pretty sure it is the Cruise Casual Dining Dress Code. I haven't been for a few years though.
