Hi all,
Well, DH had his rotator cuff surgery today. His shoulder was a mess but total repair done and md says he should be like new. Problem is he will have a 4-6 month recovery. Well this is a long time with disability so we may end up just going to the beach. We are waiting until early Sept. to make a final decision...so keep praying for us.

Congrats on successful surgery. I am glad that he will be okay. Sucks that the re-coup time is so long. I'll keep my digits crossed that all is well and we can funk.

Hey everyone. I can't believe we have less than 2 months to go. Starting to get really excited except for the flying to miami now that all this terroism stuff is going on. I heard today that you wont be aloud to take even a purse on the flight it will have to be checked. Well now for some bad news unfortunately my grandfather is pretty sick and we are not sure if he will be better before we leave. He has been in the hospital for about a week now and he his having kidney failure and congestive heart failure. Hopefully he will be better before we leave or my parents will have to cancel and I will probably do the same. I have been praying that he will get better before then.
Enough of the bad news. I paid my final payment today. I am going to start getting my outfits together soon to make sure I have everything that I need and want to take with me. Well it's raining and storming here in ohio today and it's very hot. Well I guess I am going to go now and probably head to the hospital.

I am here just been a little crazy with work lately working at least 11hrs. a day and trying to go to the hospital to visit with my grandpa haven't had much time to do anything else. But I am still excited about our cruise in 45days 17hrs 54min. We need to decide when we are all going to try and get together?? Well got to run.

I have a pair of shorts you can have. Worn only once. Pleats don't do a thing for me. However the shorts are cute, got them at the Bon. What size R U? I can mail them to you. HONEST! I teach Kindergarten! We just got back from Carnival Catalina, Ensenada cruise. Had a great time! Ate too much, drank too much, won $275.00 in casino! Baught alot of pics too. Looking forward to our next trip. Just need to decided when and where and start to save.

hey billy thanks for keeping him in your thoughts. Today was a pretty bad day for him b/c we lost him once but they revived him. He is now on a ventalator (s.p.)and they had to pump 6 pints of blood in him today very fast b/c they took a biopsy of his liver b/c he could possibly have liver cancer and when they did that they punctured something to make him lose alot of blood. His heart rate and blood pressure dropped really low. I really appreciate you thinking about him b/c we need all the prayers we can get right now. Sorry for some the words not being spelled right but I have been up since 5:30 this morning and just got home from the hospital.

Hey guys and gals,
this is Kim and Les, just loving reading all the things you guys are talking about. Well, we had to cancel our cruise due to MD didn't want hubby cruising until at least December to prevent injuring his arm.
charley, I am so sorry to read about your grandfather. Hope he is improving, but, as a nurse, I want you to think about something...What are his wishes, does he want to be kept alive by machines, and what are the chances he will recover and be able to come off the ventilator? Think about it, and I will be more than glad to talk with you. In our prayers, Kim & Les

Hey guys thanks so much for keeping us in your prayers. Friday we got the news that it was cancer and it's in its last stage. Today he had a better day. We are all taking turns spending the night at the hospital. He will probably come off the machine either sunday or monday b/c he is still able to breath on his own the machine just helps him. My parents are not sure if they are going to be able to go on the cruise. They are very upset about that but not much they can do. I really appreciate everyone thinking about us.

Thank you guys so much for all your prayers but unfortunatly he passed away at 12:30 a.m on Tuesday. All his family was in the room with him when he went so we all got to say goodbye.

We now have all of our tickets and we are ready to set sail. Only 5 weeks til we leave. This is a vacation that my family and I really need and we can't wait. We have our plans already figured out of for Miami on Sat. night. Hopefully we won't have any hurricanes to worry about or plane crashes. Well got get clothes ready for work tomorrow.

This is Kim and Les. Charley, so sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers are with you. Billy and Debi.... just 5 days til we cruise. yes...we are cruising, but on the Celebration. MD said close cruise was ok, but no Mexico. Soooo. we booked 4days on Celebration for .....$236 pp. all inclusive...so what it's the Bahamas....we'll be sailing. Maybe next time, so you guys need to keep in touch.
Hope you have a blast on the Valor...But we leave on Thursday, so we'll be sailing before you..whooooooowhee...
and we're coming back to our beach house at FrippIsland, SC for the rest of next week. It's a dirty job but someones got to do it.
