You beat me to the punch...I was going to input a double digit posting and start an early frolic dance. Now, I can't wait to do the "doc dance." It will be ugly, but I am going to bust a serious move. Debi and I are so excited!!!!! We booked some excursions last night on CCL's website. The cave tubing in Belize and Coral Reef and Stingray Safari in Grand Cayman. Hey Charley. How did you do with the Holiday Inn in Key Biscayne?

I am SOOO sorry I didn't let you do the double digit dance...but you can do the SINGLE DIGIT dance...that's the most important.
I replied to a thread last night from someone who is on Valor the week before we are...I told him to keep it clean for us.

Not too painful if I only do it for a very short period of time. LOL. I usually warn Debi when I am going to bust one off dancing, just in case something breaks. HA HA!!

No worries about the double digit dance and thank you for the single dance honor. I spoke to Debi about getting on here, she works crazy hours. The weather is supposed to turn crappy here in Florida today, so she might pop on and say hello.

Because I am tooooooo excited, I wanted to ask what time are you arriving at the pier on 10/1?? We will be there around 11:00 or so.

Hey this is Charley. This will be my 7th cruise and I can't wait. We are all so excited. We got a room at the holiday inn for saturday night. We got it for 449 dollars a night because one of the guys going with us works for the holiday inn and we got an employee rate. We also got a car for saturday. So we are all set.

Charley, 449 dollars a night is NOT a DEAL!!!
do you mean $49 a night? If so, can we have one too? We have 2 couples and we're paying $165 for a room with a sofa sleeper. I'm serious, we need all the help we can get, baubles are awaiting to be purchased and the more $ we save traveling, the more baubles we can buy!!!!
And Billy, we are planning on 1030 or 11am ourselves. Why don't you meet us for breakfast on Sun. am at the hotel? Then all of us could meet prior to the cruise? If not, I will get Lester to wear a certain cap so you will know us. Or you can wear a beanie cap with a propeller on top....

A beanie cap with prop on it?? Sounds good!! I would wear it too. I'm on the lookout for one. I'm game for anything to be honest with ya. I've spoken to Debi and we will more than likely be parking at the pier instead of leaving our car at her brother's house in Miami. So a hook-up is very likely. I would love that.

I've toured the Valor before and the layout is not too bad actually. The ship itself is very nice and clean. The atrium was smaller than I thought. Rosies will put your eyes out though. Too much lime green everywhere. WOW!! Whoever designs CCL's ships must have had a bodacious 60's. That's all I have to say about that.

We are heading to the Keys for some R&R. Getting out of the rat race that is South Florida. I'll be back on Friday and wish you an excellent week. Smooches and hugs

Hi Guys,
Well we are into the DD's now, at what, 95 days...Hopefully we'll still get to go on the Valor. DH has an injured R elbow, and we are awaiting his MRI results...possible surgery. So, we may go, even if we have to downgrade (ugh) but at least we'll be sailing. Keep us in your prayers...we really need this vacation.

Prayer line started. Tell DH that no lifting is permitted. That means beer can too. LOL!! Soory to hear the news. Hope all comes back good wit the MRI.

Hi,
Results are not good...torn Rotator cuff, to surgeon on Thurs. Bad thing is, working at Wal Mart Distribution, no jobs are without lifing, and he won't be able to lift consistently like he does now ever again...so , we're not so concerned about recovering from the surgery, just where our job is going to be...So, we have cancelled our cruise for now. We may rebook after his surgery and we know more. We have disability coverage, but it does not last forever. The job uncertainty is why we decided to cancel...Please keep in touch. our email is kimlessam8@aol.com. We'll have a virtual cruise through you guys. Happy 4th.

I really feel for you. What a let down.. I was living vicarously through you guys and Billy... Although I'm cruising on the 7th of October, you guys were really getting into the spirit of it.

I'm really sorry you had to cancel your cruise. I hope you were able to get you money back...

Billy... if you want to jump cruise lines and go with us on the 7th, you are more than welcome I have a small group of family going, but you sound like you know how to have a good time...

I am so very sorry to hear the news. My heart is at a loss, and we haven't even met.

Hiya Billy and Gang,
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. We go to the surgeon thurs. and see what she says, and prognosis. Thank God we do have short and long term disability. If we can work it, we may be able to book a cabin at the last minute and still make it, but it seemed wise to cancel for the time being just in case. It won't make any difference what cabin, just that we're sailing. If you don't mind, we'll just stay on the boards with you guys and see what happens. Who knows, we may luck up with a suite for the same price!!!
