My wife and I are taking our extended family on cruise for Christmas. We sail on the Imagination, December 23rd. Our flight home does not leave Miami until 2:30 pm. What can we do to entertain a 5 year old and a 2 year old, from 8:00 am. to 12:00 noon. What time do we have to be off the ship? Any restuarants in or near the airport? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

If the "timing gods" are with you, you should be able to stay on the ship until around 9:30-10:00am. We have only been the last color called one time and we were off the ship around 10:15am. Just put the do not disturb sign on your cabin door until you are ready to leave.

I would certainly take my time getting my luggage and getting a taxi. If you get a taxi by 10:00am and get to the airport by 10:30am, that will still give you time eat some lunch before heading to your gate.

Times like this make a DVD player and their favorite DVDs priceless!

Have a great cruise!

LHP is right on target. Sleep late, eat a leisurely breakfast, and be the last off the ship. By the time you get check in at the airport and get thru TSa, the wait shouldn't be teribly long.
