NO. No cruise lines have irons in the cabins. Its a major fire hazzard. Some ships have irons available in the laundary rooms but I have never been on the Glory so I can't answer for you. Many of the regulars bring steamers to take out wrinkles. I never bother. You are on a ship where everyone else had to pack their clothes too. No one is going to gasp and ridicule you for having a few wrinkles.

I always thought wrinkles were a fashion statement on cruise ships. You mean they are not intentional? I'll have to quit wrinkling my clothes up when I cruise.
I usually send my clothes down to laundry the first day to get all of them pressed for the cruise. No hassle and hey, I'm on vacation the cost is worth it!
Hi Luv2Cruise2007, As has been posted, there are not any irons in the cabins on the Glory. The Glory has irons in the self serve launderettes. It is also against their policy to bring one on board.
I don't like wearing wrinkled clothes to the formal dinners and functions. The steamers Jim mentioned work pretty well. Downey Wrinkle Releaser seems to work pretty well for casual clothes. I do as Cruisehappy suggested, and at least send my dress shirts down to get pressed.

Invest in a portable steamer; they work great, and they're allowed to be used in your cabin. Another way to help prevent wrinkles is to pack you clothes in plastic bags.
I have always been a Callaway and Ping fan but I am looking forward to trying out the new Taylor Made irons. Seriously, once you master the art of carefully rolling your clothes prior to packing you will find that you incur far less wrinkles than conventional flat folding.

That is true there are irons in the self service laundry mat. check layout for location. HOwever, I have always taken my own iron with me. I have been on 10 carnival cruises and no one has ever said anything to me.
cruzincrazy, I am sure that you are very careful with your iron. However, that being said, I am adamantly against people bringing irons on board cruise ships. Not everyone is as careful as yourself and it is just a matter of time before there is a potentially tragic accident that could have been avoided. Cruise line's rules aren't put in place to punish anyone. They see the inherent dangers of irons and they have put forth rules and regulations to protect the cruising public. When we give advice, especially to cruising novices, we have to pay special attention to the information that we disemmenate. Let's set a good example and protect the safety of everyone on the ship. Back to being serious, though -- some excellent points were made above about irons. A few cruises ago, we decided to send items out for pressing. The cost is reasonable, and they come back much better than I could ever hope to do myself.

Back to being serious as Lisa lead us. The service they have for pressing is quite good. They provide a bag for the items you need pressed. They have a ticket to fill out for what services you want. Just leave it on the bed, and the Steward will take care of it.
I have to agree about not bring an iron on board. that is an accident waiting to happen....a fire aboard ship is about the only thing I worry about..for the safety of everyone obey the rules and leave the iron at home.
I always bring a can of spray wrinkle remover...works great if you need it....On our last cruise they confiscated an iron from the woman next to us....IT'S DANGEROUS.....wrinkles are a good thing on a ship.....
