My wife and I are considering going to the Playa Mia Beach Break. Can anyone give us any help on the differences between the regular and the deluxe? Basically is it worth the extra $?
Frankly, the best and cheapest way to go for Playa Mia is to grab a taxi at the pier and tell them "playa mia". When you get to the beach they have options for admission. My experience has been that the cheapest admission is the best, and if you want something extra just pay for it. The upscale choices do not seem worth it to me.
We are headed to Cozumel as our first stop on May 19th. I found this place on the web. www.paradise-beach-cozumel.com it looks really fun & free, except for the 10.00 you have to spend at the bar on drinks or food. Other than that I feel a great value. We are headed there for a day in the sun.

Thanks Dave. If I were to take the taxi, is purchasing the open bar a possiblity? Cost?
Anyone can buy a package at the gate which includes open bar - although it never seemed to be cost-effective to me. The Fiesta package is the middle one, which includes the bar. The prices are $15 basic admission, $38 for the Fiesta, and $49 for the top one which adds the buffet.
