My 15 y/o daughter and I are booked on Liberty of the Seas next june. I wanted a ship where there would be lots for teens to do, where she could meet other teens, hang out, etc. Obviously this will be a fun ship with tons of stuff to do. There are 3 sailing days, which i love. We live in Texas, so we would have to fly to Miami. NOW, what I am wondering is this: What do you think about the Carnival Conquest? Would it be fun for teens? Did I look at the newest ship first (liberty of the seas) and now any other ship seems, well, not as good? Conquest has a 7 day cruise that leaves out of Galveston, which i can drive to in 8 hours. The conquest doesn't have a rockwall, ice skating rink, etc. A junior suite on LOS for next june runs about $4500, for that price we can get a category 12 on the conquest. This may be the only cruise we go on for a while, and i wanted to do it up big, which is why i at first picked Carnival Liberty and then switched it to LOS. Sorry this is so long, i'm just trying to figure out which would be the best. What do y'all think? What is your opinion on these 2 ships, which would be more fun for teens? Thanks for any help or advice you can give!
she will have plenty to do on board, like chase guys.better keep an eyes a her.j/k.when i went, mostly they were back at the pool taning. camp carnival is for kids youger than 13.
Thats a tough question because Carnival ships always have a lot of teens on board. She will have a great trip no matter which line you cruise. However, if she is in to rock climbing and ice skating, you might want to stick with Liberty, especially if it has the new wave surfing. In my past cruises, I liked RCCL ships better, but Carnival ships definitely have a more fun atmoshpere, especially for kids.

She would like to try the rock climbing and the wave surfing, but she will mostly want to just hang out with other teens. I'm so confused, lol! Thanks!
I would probably stick with the Liberty. From what I seen it is a fantastic ship and I know neither one of you would be disappointed. There will be kids on there for sure...Carnival may have 400, Liberty may have 300. I still havent been on the Voyager Class and above ships from RCCL and really want to. Go with the current choice..then catch a Carnival sale for the next one.

The Conquest would have plenty to keep your daughter occupied. They do have a Club O2 teen club, where she can dance, watch movies or music videos, or play high tech video games. The Conquest also has a 9hole miniture golf. Other activities she might enjoy are ping pong, volleyball, basket ball, shuffle board, games in the library, getting involved with trivia games, dance lessons, jogging track, to name a few. She is certain to meet other teens on the ship.
