We will be arriving thurs. 4-22-04 in Cozumel on the Carnival Holiday and dock at the Puerta Maya Pier. Can anyone tell me if they have rental cars right at the pier? I was in Xozumel last yr. on the Explorer ship and docked at the International pier and they had lots of car rentals/moped rentals right at that pier, but I know the puerta Maya Pier is smaller, and not sure just how far south it is, maybe only 1/2 mi, and probably 3 1/2 mi. to San Miguel. Thanks for any info!

I've heard that to catch a taxi into town is only $5.00. You will run into a lot of Time Share people that will try to rent you a car for free if you go look at their hotel. Depends how much time you have. Beware of them.
