My husband and I are 1st time cruisers. We are going to be on the Majesty of the Seas, June 2004. I have a question for anyone that has snorkeled in Cococay. We are thinking about taking our own snorkeling equipment. Do we still have to rent anything from RC or can we just snorkel at our own leisure. Thanks.

If you've got your own stuff, you should be good. It's been three years since we did that cruise, but I think they required everyone to put on a life vest, so if you don't have that, you may have to get one of those. But, I may be wrong. Maybe someone else who has done this more recent can say for certain.

Great snorkeling on Coca Cay!

Happy cruising!

My wife and I went to Coco Cay in April and no one required us to wear life jackets. Coco Cay is beautiful...you'll have a great time!

PS--We're going on the Majesty in January; we'll let you know how it went Cool

My husband and I went in May. Absolutely loved it! You'll love the snorkeling. I even saw a barrcuta! You'll be fine with your own equipment. It's a very easy going island.
