what was your favorite spot/tour in dominica?

We did a private taxi tour of the island .....the hike to the waterfall was worth the trek.
I think this was our favourite stop

The best snorkel I've been on in the Caribbean to date was in Dominica. It is the Champagne Reef snorkel. You can do it on your own, but I wouldn't suggest that unless you like rock climbing. Take one of the catamaran tours there. The Trafalga Falls and Emerald Pool is a nice tour, but Champagne Reef is awesome!

Penny, That was the best snorkel excursion I have done too so far. I booked mine through the ship. The Snorkel excursion catamaran didn't fill up enough, so they took us with the Divers. It was fun and very educational.

Glad to know that the catamaran snorkel is good. Leaving on Carnival destiny On Sunday and booked that excursion. Do you get the bubbles that is talked about going off the catamaran? Any suggestions for Barbados, Antigua or St Kitts? Marilyn

Yes, you get the bubbles.

On Barbados, I did the shipwreck snorkel. It was awesome. I don't see the particular one I did listed now though. They took us to the wreck site and then to a beach.
