What does anyone recommend for transportation from airport in San Juan to the Carvival terminal at the port? Any idea of cost for cab for 5 people?
Also, when we return we have 4-5 hours to use up before we need to get to the airport. Any suggestions --ship tour, do it ourselves, what do we do with our luggage?

Amy, Welcome to Cruise-Chat. Obviously, a ship's tour offers the convenience of taking care of your luggage and delivering you to the airport after the tour. The other choice you have is to do it on your own. On one of my cruises from SJU, a group of us went to the airport first, checked our luggage and got our boarding passes, then grabbed a taxi to the Condado resort area for lunch, some last minute shopping and a final stroll on the beach. Cost of a taxi from the pier to the airport is about $16 and from the airport to Condado is about $12.
