Hi pattir1, welcome to Cruise-Chat. We have not done that excursion, but have been on some wonderful snorkels in St. Thomas. There is plenty to see underwater, coral, fish, turtles, and sometimes some other sea life. I don't think you'll be disappointed in the diving there. Best wishes for a wonderful cruise, and once again, welcome aboard!
We are counting the days until June 8. The girls, 15 and 18, can't wait to go snorkeling so we are trying to pick the best one. Too many choices. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any other suggestions after snorkeling?
Trunk Bay without a doubt will fit your wishes. Take the ferry from Red Hook or Charolette and a cab to Trunk Bay. Use your find feature in the upper left hand corner and type in Trunk Bay. You will find all the posts about that fantastic place!
Trunk Bay is also one of my favorite places to snorkel. It is in the US Virgin Islands National Park on St. John. It takes some time and a little extra expense to get there, but it is well worth it.
Welcome aboard,
Dwayne
