I am thinking about booking an excursion through the cruise line. This is the Stingray City Sandbar excursion (or something like that, the excursion number is GC89 on Royal Caribbean). through Royal Caribbean, ship time departure of 8:15, and a duration of about 2 1/2 hours. I also want to do the Honey Suckle Beach trail ride, ship time departure of 11:30. I know their system will let me book it, since it's the 45 minutes between excursions that the system allows, but am I risking not making the horseback riding?

Probably not. They're pretty good at being prompt because they have the next group to pick up and take out to Stingray City. Also, the vendor will know that you have your excursion booked for 11:30. Sounds like a full day.
Thanks Penny. Yes, it will be a packed day for me. I was also hoping to do parasailing, but that's something that will have to wait until the next port, which is Cozumel.
My view of this is that I'm on vacation, and I'm hoping to make the most of it.

Well I ended up booking both of those excursions. I saw on the Royal Caribbean website that the next snorkel tour after mine early that morning is 11:15 ship time so I'm assuming I'll be fine for the 11:30 Honey Suckle Beach Trail Ride excursion.
