As Penny says - the island is small and not developed. With the two little ones, you may want to take advantage of the beach right by the pier. There is a Margaritaville restaurant/bar/shop in the cruise center that has a pool - but it was very busy when we were there with the beach being almost empty. The ship will probably have some kind of island exploration excursion, and there will be cabs available at the cruise center for travels on your own. This is the internet address to the Grand Turk Cruise Center website http://www.grandturkcc.com/Have a wonderful cruise.

We are back already, hate those short cruises, but Grand Turk is a lovely island. Friendly people and we enjoyed Margaritaville very much. Thanks for letting us know that it was a place to visit and not stay on board ship.
