Hey Guys,

I saw that Labadee had a beach area with trampolines and other water toys. I was wondering if there was a fee and how much it was to get in. Alo I was wondering if it was fenced off or something because i saw the floating yellow things and was just curious as to what they are. Any information on Labadee would be appriciated.

Thanks,
Ry

Here are the tours offered at Labadee. Like one sees at other ocean resorts, a boundary is set up off-shore beyond which you are not allowed (unless you are on a waverunner or other craft).

Labadee is on a peninsula on the north coast of Hispaniola, otherwise known as Haiti. Hispaniola was the name Christopher Columbus gave to the entire island shared by the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Recent political unrest made Haiti an undesirable destination, but Royal Caribbean has cordoned off a remote portion of this island, and the totally safe and private compound provides guests an opportunity to experience the magnificent beauty of this region.
The powdery sand beach is surrounded by magnificent mountains and lush foliage and crystal clear water..
Royal Caribbean has made improvements and updated this island paradise to include a new water park (additional entrance fee). This island, with five different beach areas, offers more than just a beach experience, however. A number of the optional shore excursions allow a glimpse into the local culture and its rich history.

shanghai 100 was right, they do charge extra for that. I liked the wave runners the best. Also enjoyed an excursion of Malifini Beach, beautiful! Though the beaches and scenery there are enough without any additional excursions. The place is very spread out, make sure you get a chance to see it all. If you stay by the water park area which is to the right as soon as you get off the tender, you might not know that the other side (toward the left) is really much prettier.
