Ok, I'm looking for recommended operators for the following:

Grand Cayman Stingray City
Belize Cave tubing
Cozumel Scuba diving

Any help with some good operators would be appreciated. I'm new to the cruising scene but have been told to try and find excursions off the boat for more personal attention and less crowds.

For stingray city trips I recommend going out on the Heavenly Hooker. This is a great boat that was refurbished after the hurricane a few years ago. It is also never packed full like some of the other operators. Ezona and Stacy (Husband and Wife operator) are also very knowledgable and friendly.

For Cave Tubing in Belize, from personal experience, I can highly recommend Reggie's Tours. ( www.regtour.com )

Ok so far I've booked with Reggie in Cozumel. Kinda leary about reserving w/ CC on phone but did so.

Contacted ezonasaquatics and requested information.

Counting down......can't wait.

We used Captain Marvin's in Grand Cayman for the Stingray Tour ... 2nd small boat on the sandbar and the 1st one was just leaving when we got there. Awesome experience, great service and great crew.

scubagruba- Don't worry about Reggie.(Assuming you meant Reggie in Belize) I was a little leary too, but they are very honest people. Just make sure you bring your confirmation email and make sure you check your booking date. If you read my review you will know why. But even though we had a miscommunication on the date, Reggie went well out of his way to make sure we got our excursion.

Yes it is through Reggie in Belize. After reading multiple good reviews about him I did reserve. I figured with that many good things said I should be ok.

Jim since you recently went, how large are the inner tubes? I'm taking a 8 year old and just worried about them being comfortable in the tube if it is too big.

BJC123..I've checked with Captin Marvin's and would like to use them but speaking with them about my schedule of my ship it might not quite work out.

I think we get there at 9am and leave at 5pm according to the website. BTW how does the time zones work? Is that 9-5 home port time or actual port time? Kinda confusing.

Scubagruba- They had a variety of tube sizes to small to extra large, so you shouldn't have a problem with the tube being too big. They also had different sized life vests, but Reggie supplied those, so you might want to email him and tell them what sizes you may need. Or just tell him how many of what ages you have in your group so they bring the appropriate size vests. The tubes are supplied by the national park where you start. Bring water socks. Its about a mile trek from the parking to the drop in point and without shoes, it will be a problem. The water socks can easily be worn in the river too.

For time zones... I think GC works on eastern time but I'm not sure. The time zone of your embarkation port is normally the time you stick with and they call it "ship time". I say normally because NCL changed time zones when we went to Belize and then changed back the next day.. Not sure why.

Think I'll call RCCL and ask about the time zones, I need to know for a few of the excursions to be sure.

Thanks for the heads up on the tubing.

In Grand Cayman I would recommend the Wave Runner Tour to Stingray City and Rum Point is was incredible!!!! It leaves from a resort, nice resort, beach was so-so but the tour was incredible and Rum point was beautiful!

In Belize, I highly recommend X-Stream Cave Tubing we've gone with them two times, once just cave tubing, and we loved it so much we returned and did the combination with zipline too. Great company!!!

In Cozumel I can't recommend a scuba company as we did the ATV's another great tour!
