Other than the zipline what beaches are good to go to here and what is the best way to get there? Can you walk from the drop off?

Labadee is RCCL's private island. It is actually a peninsula on Haiti. You will tender to shore as there is no pier there (yet). The beaches on the "shipward" side are fantastic, with some decent (but not fantastic) snorkeling from shore, lots of sand and sheltered location in terms of surf. Many beach chairs and RCCL personnel to get you drinks and chairs, etc. The only cash you need on shore would be for the market run by (aggressive) native vendors (native woodcrafts, shell jewelry, etc.) Everything else is part of RCCL. The beach on the far side (zip line side) is rougher and there are warning signs about sharp rocks and coral, but it is beautiful and lots of people hang out over there. Lunch on the island is provided by the ship and included.

Oh, I just reread your question. If you are able bodied at all you can walk the whole area of Labadee. They have a little tractor thing with a trolley-type thing pulling behind for the hot, tired, old, and infirm (I sometimes feel like all of the above).

Labadee is one of my favorite stops. Enjoy.
