Has anyone booked an excursion without going through the cruise line? Specifically Kukoo Kunuku thru Aruba Adventures. Thanks for any input.

I usually make my own arrangements in port, rather than using the cruise lines excursions, with great success.

As for the Kukoo Kunuku Party Bus in Aruba, I have not had the experience yet, but I do have friends that recently came back from Aruba and raved about it. I know they made their own arrangements by booking online before they left home (not sure who they used, however). The only word of caution I would have in planning this on your own is to check the time of the excursion carefully - be aware of what time you must be back onboard and make sure the company you are using offers a trip that will coincide with your schedule.

I have done 6 excursions on my own over my last 2 cruises. I exclusively use www.shoretrips.com . I've never had a complaint about any of their trips, or their customer service!
