Hi all,
Has anyone done either of these 2 excursios? Which would you recommend? We definitely want to go to Dunn's River Falls but were undecided between these 2.
Thank you
Karen

Most of the Party Boats, whether in Mexico or Jamaica are just loud music and alot of booze. I've never been really imnpressed with them. Almost all the excursions in Ocho Rios go to the falls in one way or another, so pick the extra activity that pleases you the most. We're going to do the power boat...it's a little expensive but it sounds like fun!

We did a snorkel in Ocho Rios the last time we were there. It was just ok, not great, but ok. DFR is a must do/see. As PA Steve said, party boats are free flowing alcohol. My hubby loves them, but then is ruined for anything else. I prefer not to have a headache in the morning and remember what I saw the next day. If you do the party boat, let my hubby know, he'll be happy to go Big Grin

When you're at the dinner table on the way to a port and talk among your table mates, excursions always come up. I've dicovered anytime I hear of a couple doing the party boat its not wise to expect them to show up the next night for dinner. You will see them again later on and they'll tell you all about the full day of recovery needed and they're usually also sun burned. Hard to remember to put on more sun block apparently when you have a free margarita and dacqueri machine onboard.

Cheers, Neil

In Cozumel I once saw a woman who was so trashed after the party boat that she couldn't walk. Really. She was going down the pier on all fours . Security came and took her back to the ship for her own safety.

Dave, we had one go off the pier and into the water. She was totally gone. It was a newly wed couple on their honeymoon. He had dinner by himself that night and the next night she still looked green. They didn't do another party boat
