Thinking of segways in st Martin any advise? Is the beach at the end nice or can we easily catch a taxi and go to orient bay

Generally speaking I think Segways are a lot of fun, but I can't see doing it in Phillipsburg. Where will they be taking you on the segways? The sidewalks are narrow, as are the streets in the main shopping district.
The beach in Phillipsburg is gorgeous. I don't think Orient Beach is worth the trip unless you're into nudity.

HI, We did the Segways in St. Martin in 06! DH, myself and our twins boys (12)! It takes some getting use to, they do let you practice and give you instructions. If I remember right, they took us all the way down the main drag (you can see the ship) by the water until we couldn't go anymore. It gets sandy and the area is a bit run down at that end. Then we turned around and back tracked past where we started and went by a little shopping village (which was interesting)trying to drive it around the carts...lol! It was fun, my boys enjoyed it!!! When you get there go and check it out, we watched others before we decided to do it!!
I don't think I would do it again, once was enough, I am sure my boys would!!!
