I will be visiting Playa Del Carmen the week of April 19, 2004 on the Carnival Ship Holiday. Wanted to know if anyone has been there, as they actualy dock ot the port of Calica. We would just like to relax on the beach, but not sure if there is one at the port. Will we need to take a taxi to playa del carmen, and how much will it cost? There will be 4 adults traveling. Don't want to visit Xcaret, as we will be spending a week at Grand Xcaret resort at end of june with friends. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
