Hi, welcome to cruise chat.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the maiden voyage for the Oasis isn't till Dec 12, 2009. Do you mean April 2010?? I plan on booking her for summer 2010, or Jan 2011. I can't wait to sail on her. I love the big ships.

As Lori notes, the Oasis isn't going to sail until December 2009. Bookings open on September 3rd of this year. Read more here

My sister and I were very excited about being able to book for Oasis as early as September 2008!! I did not bother to read any further..

Royal Caribbean International will be sending out an announcement to the trade
on July 21st to announce ALL opening dates for the " Oasis of the Seas" !

See details below:

On 8/21 we will open deployment for Diamond Plus and Diamond.
On 8/28 for all other Crown & Anchor members
On 9/03 for the general public

Can you wait until 2010 or are you going to book a smaller ship like the Freedom

for next year?

Hi Sonny, I'm booked for Oasis of the Sea weeks of Feb. 27 and March 3, was lucky, got a balcony room on the 14 deck. Are you planning on cruising Oasis?
