It has been a while since I posted, but since I got lots of help last time - Let me try again: As a single mom with a 6 year old daughter, planning to go on the Navigator of the Seas - If I want to go out in the evening without my daughter, how are the babysitting services? Can I leave my daughter safely - and enjoy a few evenings in the company of adults? What are the best options?

Hi Vicki,
You should have no problem with babysitting services on board. At age 6 you have 2 choices. There is group sitting supervised by the youth staff from 10 pm to 1 am for $5 an hour, or you can request in-stateroom sitting through guest relations for $8 an hour. Both can be relied upon to provide safe service to your daughter.
