I am not a single person but if I were single I would pay the single supplement and go on a cruise. You will meet lots of people so you will not be lonely or bored. Fortunately, New Jersey now has a a cruise terminal at Cape Liberty that is used by Celebrity Cruises among others. And this means that you do not have the hassle of getting to and from a port. In sum, quit agonizing over this and go!
