Hello,

I am planning a two week Panama canal cruise on Infinify and am not sure whether to beek CC, SS or FV. I've had FV before, which was nice, but back then I had the corner room with the extended balcony. These are already fully booked. Are the other FV cabins also worth the extra money? And how about CC? I've experienced 1A, is CC really worth the extra money? And is there much difference in terms of service between CC and SS? Does the butler service that comes with SS really make a difference?

Thanks!!!

Floris,
Having sailed recently on the Infinity (Sept), I can tell you there is a huge difference between "SS" and the "CC" Cabins. The staterooms of the Sky Suites are 538 sq ft with verandah of 195 sq ft, while the "CC" are only 191 sq ft with a 41 sq. ft Verandah. The "CC" category cabin is the same size as 1A and 1B, it just offers enhanced service that includes such amenities as priority embarkation / disembarkation / tendering; fresh fruit and flowers, welcome champagne and a special massaging showerhead in the bathroom. As for butler service, I have experienced it only once and it was pretty neat, but not sure I would spend a lot more money on this amenity. Sorry I don't know much about the "FV" cabins.

I would put a value on the butler service if you are going to be doing any entertaining or need special services/arrangements during the cruise. If you are one that likes to take care of things yourself, then a butler becomes a secondary thought.
