I have not seen too many reviews about the Infinity and its sailing to the mexican riviera. I'd love to hear all about it as this itinerary is a first for me. I am also curious about little things because I have heard conflicting answers- charge for indoor spa pool? Self laundry services? music or dvd in family suite? Dvd's available to borrow? Hairdryers in unit? dining room menu available for room service? We sailed the millenium during its first year, so I'm not sure what has changed with this class of ships. Port suggestions for hanging at a nice beach/resort? Thanks, any info will be helpful, this time travelling without my husband, just taking my mother and my youngest son who is 5. older kids and dad can't miss two weeks of work and school!
I'm recently back from Infinity and can answer some of your questions.
There is no charge for the Thalassotherapy pool. (Thank goodness, as I used it a lot.) We had a hair dryer in the bathroom of our cabin, but there were no self-service laundry facilities. As far as room service and DVDs, we used neither, so hopefully someone will respond to those questions soon. BTW - pastries in the Cova Cafe were complimentary, but there was a charge for all drinks, including tea. (Tea was available at no charge elsewhere on the ship.)
While we went to the Eastern Caribbean on our Infinity cruise, I have been to the Mexican Riviera on another line and loved it. Which ports are you most interested in? I also suggest posting the ports question on our ports of call boards, below, for more responses.
Hi lisa, Thanks. How did you like the infinity overall? Any suggestions? I'm interested in Mazatlan, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo. As you suggested, I also posted question on the port chat. Thanks again. Audra
