We will be sailing out of Port Liberty on the Zenith on October 7, 2006 to Bermuda. We knowo that the Zenith is a small ship and seems to be more suseptible to rocking. Is this always the case or is really more dependent on the weather? We love to cruise and have never been to Bermuda, but we are not looking for a ride on a "vomit comet".
We were on the Zenith to Bermuda this past May....rough on the last full sea day and quite a few passengers and some crew seasick. If in doubt, take Bonine before you sail and you should be fine. It's a nice cruise and the crew is fantastic!

I have done the zenith twice to bermuda. One time was pretty smooth, the other time a little rockier. It all depends on the weather. Anytime you travel off the coast of north carolina you go over the outer banks, and the seas tend to be rougher there for a couple of hours. Take motion sickness pills if you are worried, but its not that bad.
It does depend on the weather, our first trip was in Sept. and we ran into a hurricane, then in May it was rainy out to sea, but, In July, It Was Great weather to and there and back. Loved it and we try to travel to Bermuda always in July. Also, check out Tobacco Bay for snorkeling and pink sands at Horseshoe Bay. Get a three day bus pass, you can travel as much as you want. Enjoy this wonderful country, We Did!
