TELL ME ABOUT THE EXCURSIONS FOR JUL 24 MED CRUISE YOU'VE BOOKED OR PLAN TO BOOK?

My husband and I are taking a cruise on 07/23/07, the galaxy with celebrity

I am going the following trip 8/5. I am trying to figure out excursions also.

My family is sailing on July 24th. After much discussion, we have decided to explore Nice/Villefranche and Athens on our own, based on advice we have received from people who have traveled there. We have decided on using Celebrity's excursions for Italy, we are wary of using other tour groups. There are 13 of us in our group and we trying to play it safe. Do you know of any other tours we can look into other than the ones Celebrity offers?

We're doing the October 6th, Greek Islands cruise so hope some of you doing the upcoming trips post a report on the Galaxy and the shore excursions you enjoyed.

We haven't booked any shore excursions - like to free lance it where the free lancing might save some money or get a more personal tour - but also don't speak Greek and don't want to risk miss the sailing time so any experiences you have will be most welcome.

Just a word to encourage those of you who return to pass on some of your newfound knowledge of the ship and the trip.
