hey everyone im 16 17 in january and i went on the mercury 07/22-29 to alska and let me tell you it was one of the best cruises i have ever been on!! during the day its cooll to hang out in the teen center but its actually a bit dull but once it gets dark the party starts there is soo much to do someone may people to meet and its lots of fun! i really ejoyed it the tours where amazing the sites where nice the food incerdible i can go on and on i really loved this cruise
Sounds like you had a great time. My daughter's all-time favorite way to spend my money is on cruises. You should write a review of your trip for cruisereviews.com. We could really use the teen perspective. Let's hope this is the beginnign of a lifetime of cruising fun! Nancy
Thanks. I have an almost 12 daughter and almost 14 son. We leave on the Mercury for Alaska on August 12th. I just went out today and bought everybody their own set of binoculars. This is only our second cruise. The first was on Carnival (totally for the kids). The cruise to Alaska is more for my husband and myself, but I am sure the kids will appreciate it.
The Mercury is a great ship for Alaska as she has lots of open deck space for viewing. Here is a hint for Hubbard Glacier. Everyone clibs to the top of the ship for viewing. Go to the Promenade deck and it is vacant with better views.
