Has anyone seen anything other than the deck plans on Celebrity web site, regarding cabins that have larger than usual balconies. On Constellation and Millenium we have been in Conciege cabins that have much larger balconies than all of the others in that class. Just wondered how to find out, as Celebrity say that all the Conciege cabins are same size (they said that on the other ships)

You may be confusing Conciege Class with Sky Suites and other Verandah categories. Perhaps this site might show things better for you.

Thanks for the interesting site, but I have stayed in two conciege staterooms that allegedly had the normal size balcony, but after asking for info on cruise chat found that they were larger, as indeed was the room.

You are correct that there are a few cabins on most Celebrity ships that have oversized balconies. Since all the published information gives only "Avg sq. ftge." and they don't break it down for each cabin, you have to look carefully at the deck plans and book very early in most cases to get these. On Solstice Cat 1A, cabin 9370, 9297, 8343, 8334, 7354 and 7305 have oversized balconies. In Cat 2C, cabin 6300 through 6303 are larger, cabin 6302 and 6303 are larger that 6300 and 6301. In Cat 2C, cabin 7352 and 7303 are larger. Cat 2A, cabin 8330 and 8341.

The oversized balconies are all aft and there are only a few so finding one on a given sailing date may present challenges. Good luck!

Cheers, Neil

Hi Neil
Just one more thing, I think that all of the stateroom numbers you have given to me are Oceanview staterooms, do you know of any conciege class C1 or C2 with the larger balconies. Thanks

Try 1194 or 1401 on Sky deack. All the previous cabins are also balcony cabins, just not C1 or C2 (Concierge Class). There is also a chance that the stern balconies will be oversized although there is no way to know until we get some reports from passengers who've sailed in them. On many ships these are larger but the view is less attractive for some who want unobstructed photos from their balcony. There is a lattice type view often through cut outs for view in most of these, not the ones listed above.

Cheers, Neil
