I am a great believer that no one treats you more famously than Celebrity. Just finished the Summit cruise from LA for FLL in early November. Just two things I suggest you think about...this is definitely an older crowd AND there are MANY days at sea (unless, of course, the current itinerary changes). If a lounge chair and the sun are all that you need on sea days, you will love all that time, but if you are looking for activities, you'll find them geared to an older crowd and often repetitive. If you can live with both of those facts, you are going to love this cruise. Transit through the canal is an incredible experience. In Costa Rica, I recommend you take the tour to the Tabacon Hot Springs Spa and Resort to visit the Arenel Volcano, or look into the aerial tram tour in the same area. If I had money only for one tour on the whole cruise, I'd spend it in Costa Rica. I also highly recommend the Normandie Restaurant. If you like it the first time, do it again. When you come back a second time, you're treated like an old friend. This is a very relaxing cruise.
chloe, Thanks for your thoughts, I am sure that we will love this Itinerary, especially as we sail and enjoy those sea dayz from our own aft verandah!..
And we are really looking forward to the Normandie Resturant.
Thanks for taking the time to psot a reply, chloe, I do appreciate it!
