Why and how is it that Mr. Dave beers is able to close a very helpful discussion like that of "Cruiser Beware"? First his response to my wifes post is totally uncalled for and very unsympathetic. How about a little empathy?!! This is an open discussion for people who have been on cruises, good or bad. You Mr. Beers should be taken off as an administrator for your dictatorial manner. "Symapthy and a cup of coffee will buy you a cup of coffe at your local McDonalds". Are you kidding me? Of course the Cruise line has an obligation to it's customers. ALL of it's customers. You obviously have some kind of affiliation with a cruiseline or you just have waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on your hands. My wife posted her letter to warn others. She was doing the readers of this web-site a favour and you and a few others jump all over her for her views and experience. Good luck on your next cruise Mr. Beers. I hope all goes well. If not, don't post it here because by you're way of thinking, it's unwanted. By the way, i realize this may not make it to post, so if you would like to reply Mr. Beers, send me an email. Excuse me Simon but you too are violating Board rules by attacking other members. We would all apreciate it if you would kindly refrain from such posts!

We are here to talk about our favourite hobby which is cruising. We all come here to gripe sometimes when we have had a bad experience BUT it does not mean everyone has to agree with us and we cannot go about attacking other posters and members for having other opinions.

No one wants exclude anyone but do consider this as being read the "riot act" and take it as your last chance to part take in an appropreate way.

when a thread on a particular topic is closed by a moderator or administrator it is intended to remain closed and new threads intended to continue the same discussion will be closed, as well.

But as you apparently didn't consider it necessary to take a close look at why the thread was closed, here's a hint: It was closed because of Peejay43's inappropriate language.
