We have cruised on 3 of the 4 Millennium Class ships of Celebrity and have found the view from the stern cabins to be the best. The verandas are huge and you have a 180 degree view. These are Conceirge Class staterooms and sell out quickly. There are 4 on decks 7, 8, and 9 each.
I agree with Carolyn J.... we've managed to get stern cabins every time on the Millenium class... they are the BEST!!! When travelling with our kids, we got a "Family Ocean View" cabin - they're on the corners of the ship stern and are really great. The verandah on those cabins is like a basketball half-court!! Once, we even got lucky (off season), and they let us book the Family Ocean View (FV) with only my wife and I in it... that was a treat!!
... by the way... in the stern cabins, the verandahs get larger on the LOWER decks. The largest verandahs are the ones just above the Penthouse suites... that's "Vista Deck" (Deck 7).
I'm interested in the best Ocean View Cabins on M-Class ships, too. I mean ocean view WITHOUT verandah!
Can any one recommend the staterooms at the bow on penthouse and vista deck (6000 -6005/7000-7003)? Are these statrooms worth the extra money compared to ocean view cabins on deck 2 and 3? Any disadvantages except the extra money?
