Has anyone cruised in the concierge-class cabins on Sky Deck recently? Wondering about noise from the main pool area, which is right above the cabin I'm considering.

I have stayed in the concierge cabins just below the pool. I didn't notice that much noise at all except every once in awhile I would hear running around but it wasn't too often.
I would stay on the sky deck again, very convenient location and nice view from the veranda.

We just found out we have been "upgraded" to concierge class..deck 8 on a 3/18/06 repositioning cruise...very excited as we are usually in the inside cabins( I like to call them "the Bat Cave")...which have been fine...but the thought of an actualy veranda is exciting. JSL

Just came back from the 12/10 Constellation. We've stayed in 9141, 9145, 9131 and 9133 on various M class ships and had no problem with noise. We really like the Sky Deck because you can walk upstairs to the buffet, the pool, the spa rather than rely on the elevator. Don't know whether you would get much noise from the pool deck during the nightime hours because Celebrity really shuts down that deck after dark except for the night they do the buffet up there. Worthy of note: when you get further aft, i.e. in the area of 9173, you will get noise from the Windjammer above you and regrettably in the middle of the night. We did a four nighter on Summit last year in that cabin and it was a nightmare.
