Help! I will be sailing on the Infinity in a few weeks (8/29) and curious about the specialty restaurant. Has anyone tried it, or have any incite about the food, ambiance or cost? If you have tried it, is it worth the extra money?

I checked my handy guide book and the name of the restaurant is the "United States Restaurant" and the guidebook says that it is not as luxurious as the restaurant on the Millennium. It does have some of the original glass panels from the cruise liner the SS. United States, which made the fastest ever transatlantic crossing taking the "Blue Riband" from Cunard's Queen Mary in 1952.

Hope that helps.

The specialty restaurant on the Infinity costs $25 pp. The service is excellent, but I understand the menu is somewhat limited. I have heard rave reviews for the reservation required alternative dining that is set up on one side of the buffet area and there is no additional cover charge. I think you might want to try that.
