Has anyone ever tried to take alcohol onto the Mercury? I'm not sure how strict their policies are pertaining to liquor as this is our first trip with Celebrity.
We have an upcoming cruise the Century, the documents address this by saying" Celebrity Cruises reserves the right to limit OR refuses to allow alcholic beverages to be brought aboard the ship for consumption during the cruise" We took that to mean that we should be able to bring a couple bottles of wine on board to enjoy in our cabin. Be aware there is a $15usd corkage fee if you enjoy your wine in the dinning room.
Hope this helps

We took on liquor and bought liquor in port. There's a $15 corkage fee if you take it to the dining room. If you buy liquor on board, they don't let you have it until disembarkment.
