Looking for any info about this ship. We are booked for june 4, 03 in the Med. Anyone ever been on this ship? Is there lots to do on seadays? Also, the itinery includes Piraeus, Santorini and Dubrovnik. We have never been to these places. Anybody who knows the best sights to see and the cheapest methods we'd love to hear from.

We sailed the Mille in Oct 02 on an 11 day western caribbean. To date it's my favorite Celebrity ship. If possible try to eat in the Olympic Dinning room while onboard. There is an additional $25 per person charge to do this but is well worth it. It was one of the highlights of our cruise.

You'll love Celebrity. We sailed the Constellation last August, will do it again in July, and just booked the Infinity in South America next February. These are all Millenium class vessels, and basically all the same. The food is excellent, and the service is marvelous. You'll be spoiled, as very little can compare to this, unless you go to luxury class ships. Have fun, but I know you will. Write a review when you get back, as that's a possibility for a cruise in 2004. Big Grin

Thanks Sue for your positive comments. However, you bring up an excellent question in our minds. What is the difference between millenium class and luxury class ships?

First of all, luxury class ships are far more expensive. They have far fewer passengers, mostly suites, some larger than a lot of houses. They have balconies, a lot have butler service. Tips are included, as are wine with dinner, sodas, bottled water, champagne on checking in, and 2 liquor bottles of your choice for your bar in the room. This is what we're getting on Radisson Seven Seas Mariner on a cruise later this year. Just a lot more 1 for 1 service, but you pay for it. This will be the first time that we've done this, and I'm sure we'll be spoiled after it. Just wish they had an inside swimming pool, but you can't have it all. Your Millenium class vessels are said to be the best of the regular cruise lines, and so far, we agree. I'm sure you will to. Sue Smile
