I would try any Royal Caribbean Ship. They are the best for children and young adults in my opinion..Tom

I have taken my teenage daughter on a couple of Celebrity cruises and she had a wonderful time. She preferred not to participate in the teen programs, she said they were lame for a 18yr old, but loved the nightly disco. However there were a lot of teens in the programs. Celebrity seated us at dinner with two families with teens my daughters age on our first cruise three years ago (she was 15yrs). She still chats online with many of these friends and one recently drove hours to visit us. I can't speak for other cruise lines as we have only cruised Celebrity, but she we do it again in a heartbeat.

I have found that the teen programs, which usually go to age 17, have fewer of the organized activities that the younger kids do. Cruise ships usually make it possible for the older teens to meet each other, and hang out together. There are things offered to teens, like disco dancing until 11pm, but I've found the teens like being able to meet each other at the beginning of the cruise, and then gather at the pool or an outer deck at night. The disco is a popular place for them.
