Anybody knows where the ship docks in St.Petersburg? Thanks!!!

Can't tell you the name of the dock or area, but it's a huge commercial shipyard about 20 minutes from the main attractions of St. Petersburg--or 2 hours, depending on traffic.

During the two days I was just there Veendam was docked with Star Princess, P&O Aurora, Norwegian Dream, Costa Magica and Oceania Regatta. The area should have been called "cruise ship central".

f=mattox - what was your weather like? We are curious as to the best time of the year to do the Baltic Cruise. Any other tips??

We had half rainy days and half clear sunny days. That was in June; I don't know if it is any better earlier or later in the year. I really have no general advice for you; unless you wish to know something specific.

We loved it; had a wonderful cruise. The biggest letdown was the time wasted in traffic in St. Petersburg, but the city itself and environs were amazing. Sailing into and out or Oslo was absolutely beautiful--and fortunately, one of the sunny days.
