We'll be going on the Pride of Aloha in July for our honeymoon. We plan to do a lot of excursions, but also want to find time to take it easy. A balcony will cost about $400 more than an oceanview and $700 more than an inside room.

Could anyone provide advice about what would be the best choice and locations?

Hello lovetoplan. I have been on several cruises and have had oceanview, balconies, and suites. Like any upgrade, there is a reason for the charge difference. Once you upgrade, it's always hard to step back to a lesser cabin. You need to weigh the financial against your desires. If you plan on not spending much time in the cabin, then an interior or outside view cabin would be fine. If however, you would like to sit on a balcony and sip a glass of wine or take in a sunset from your cabin..... I think you get the idea.
