Hello to you all from Finland! We are going to our first cruise and I´m allready having problems... I´m trying to fill out the registration form but it won´t accept our phonenumbers...Finnish ones of naturally. So what should I do. How will I get my documents out? Help me...
Hi Sleeplessinthecity, Their registration system is frustrating for everyone so don't feel it's just you. Try a 10 digit phone # even if it's not all the digits in your #. List only the last 10. If this won't work play with various combinations of 10 digits until it accepts it. Having your accurate phone in there is a minor concern. What is important to have in the system before you arrive is your passport info. Be sure that part is accurate and just try getting through the rest with whatever info you can force it to take. You can correct the minor info at the pier if they need it. By that time your passport info will be in the right hands and your key cards and other things that need to be prepared before you arrive will be done.
We have a few Finlanders in my area - my partner's grandparents came from Finland. That is how I introduced him to cruising, by suggesting a Baltic cruise stopping in Helsinki. Now he's a cruise addict. We're a little warmer than you, Bob E - temperature here this morning was only 10 below zero, (-23 C).
Spring is on the way..I saw a robin all fluffed up and shivering this morning....we are having a heat wave...30 above zero....Time to book a cruise to Alaska again I guess....Happy Cruising to one and all....
