We are looking into this cruise, my son will be 15 and my daughter 10, is this cruise good for kids? I've seen posts that there isn't enough for teens to do, any opinions or experience on this cruise line or ship????

Thanks

Hi Jennifer Droblas, welcome to Cruise-Chat. If you're children get bored, it won't be due to NCL's lack of activities. There is plenty for both young and old to participate in. They have a children's program, video arcade, swimming pools, hot tubs, gym, spa, games, food, tv, library, internet cafe. You name it, it's there. Of course, if your children aren't social and want to stay in the cabin all the time, it would be boring. NCL doesn't have rock climbing or ice skating, but they offer plenty to keep you as busy as you like. I'll bet they'll have the time of their life and wouldn't be a bit surprised if they came back addicted to cruising Smile Have a wonderful time and once again, welcome aboard!

Hi Jennifer and Penny,
Just for the record - my wife and I did a cruise last year on Norwegian Pearl and I guarantee that on that ship at that time they most certainly had rock-climbing!

Hi Jennifer, and welcome to cruise-chat.com!

NCL's newer ships have wonderful teen facilities. There is a hangout area just for them, with juice bar, video jukebox, and Internet stations. There's another space for the pre-teens, although their activities are more structured due to their ages. Both rooms were very nicely sized.

As previously mentioned, there are activities outside of the programs -- including bowling!
